The floor must be a mat and in any case it should be properly padded (at least 3 cm thick).Moreover it is possible to use the MMA cage.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>2)\u00a0 UNIFORMS\u00a0\u00a0 AND\u00a0 EQUIPMENT<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shoot boxing athletes must wear shorts, groin guard, open gloves covered on the thumbs mouth guard, hand wraps fixed by a single tape turn. Gloves should reach the middle point of knuckles and have a pad at least 3 cm thick. Women must wear a chest protector. The fighting safety equipment must be of an approved type and will be inspected by the competition jury.Mouth guard should be properly placed and it is not allowed to fight with open mouth.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>3)\u00a0 DURATION\u00a0 OF\u00a0 MATCH<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prestige fight3\u00a0 x\u00a0 3&#8242;<\/p>\n<p>National championship\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 4\u00a0 x\u00a0 3&#8242;<\/p>\n<p>European championship\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 5\u00a0 x\u00a0 3&#8242;<\/p>\n<p>World championship\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6\u00a0 x\u00a0 3&#8242;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>4)\u00a0 LEGAL\u00a0 TARGETS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is allowed to hit the whole body with the exception of spine,\u00a0 nape, throat and groin, with punches, kicks, shin techniques, knee techniques.It is not allowed to hit the &#8216;opponent on the ground and it is forbidden to hit while you are on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>The athlete who has even a hand or a knee in contact with the carpet is considered to be in ground position.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>5)\u00a0 THROWS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is allowed to seize, hold and throw the opponent in every way but not during finalization. Besides it is allowed to hit while seizing or being seized. It is not allowed to throw\u00a0 the opponent knocking him on the neck head first or causing him to fall on his knees. It is not allowed to hurl the antagonist beyond the ropes.<\/p>\n<p>A \u201ctakedown\u201d is considered any way one is able to carry or push the opponent to the ground either falling on the opponent or remaining standing. A \u201ctakedown\u201d is considered valid any way\u00a0in which\u00a0the\u00a0opponent\u00a0winds up on the ground, even due to his\/her own fault.<\/p>\n<p>It is forbidden to hold on to the ropes.If after\u00a0a throw,\u00a0the athlete\u00a0is unable\u00a0to return\u00a0promptly\u00a0to fight,\u00a0the referee\u00a0is counting\u00a0up to\u00a08, and subsequently\u00a0if the\u00a0athlete\u00a0is unable\u00a0to continue he is declared &#171;out of action&#187; as in case of\u00a0a\u00a0normal\u00a0KO.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>6)\u00a0 IMMOBILIZATIONS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s allowed to block the opponent on the mat in any manner, but only the combatant who gains a position of advantage will obtain points. \u00a0It is allowed to do locks and chokes both to keep up the immobilization and to obtain the surrender. In case of surrender the match ends with the win due to abandonment. However if the referee stops the match because he thinks there is a dangerous situation, a count is made. Referee <strong>stops fight after 5&#8243; clinch situation on ground.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vantage points\u00a0are given based primarily on the position\u00a0of\u00a0 theopponent,\u00a0except for the\u00a0rear mount\u00a0which is\u00a0still\u00a0considered\u00a0advantageous position.\u00a0The Referee\u00a0ascertains\u00a0the stability\u00a0of the position\u00a0(after about 5 seconds), signals the hold with his arm\u00a0stretched out and\u00a0counts\u00a0out loudin order to\u00a0be heard\u00a0by the athletes\u00a0up\u00a0to 5 which\u00a0coincides with\u00a0the stop\u00a0and\u00a0then assigns the\u00a0points .If\u00a0during the counts the situation\u00a0is reversed\u00a0 or\u00a0the fighter escapes the lock the\u00a0referee stops\u00a0the fightand raises\u00a0the athletes ordering them to stand up. However\u00a0if during\u00a0the count\u00a0 the fighter applying the lock changes to another kind of lock without loosing his advantage \u00a0the count\u00a0continues.\u00a0If at the end\u00a0of the\u00a05 second count, after the award\u00a0of the points,\u00a0the athlete\u00a0is unable\u00a0to promptly resume fighting \u00a0the referee\u00a0continues\u00a0to count up to\u00a08 and subsequently\u00a0if the\u00a0fighter is still unable to\u00a0continue the &#171;KO&#187; is declared.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7)<em>SUBMISSION<\/em><\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nIn Shoot boxing\u00a0 finalization by\u00a0choking,\u00a0strangling ,compression and\u00a0arm bars is allowed.\u00a0Submission ends the fight. Fighter can not use his hands to attack his opponent\u2019s face. The\u00a0referee\u00a0may\u00a0stop a\u00a0pending\u00a0submission\u00a0if he considers it\u00a0dangerous\u00a0for the athlete.\u00a0This will result in\u00a0the deduction\u00a0of 1 point\u00a0from the score of\u00a0the athlete\u00a0who underwent submission. In\u00a0case of loss of\u00a0mouth guard\u00a0during ground fighting\u00a0the Referee does not stop\u00a0the\u00a0fighting.\u00a0The\u00a0Referee\u00a0will have it\u00a0replaced at the end of\u00a0 theground fighting phase.<\/p>\n<p>Ripping (violently applied) joint locks are not allowed.\u00a0They\u00a0should always\u00a0be executed\u00a0progressively. It is not allowed to apply submission techniques to fingers.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>8)\u00a0 SCORING<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of each round the side judges give 10 points to the better fighter and 9 points to his opponent ( 8 if there has been a remarkable gap ). Then they subtract the points owing to penalties and counts, marking the total score on the \u201cround\u201d column. At the end of the match the result will be given by the sum of the points obtained in each round. In case of equal\u00a0 points in an elimination tournament the judge must give his preference.<\/p>\n<p>The winner is declared by a majority of verdicts.<\/p>\n<p>It is allowed to file a claim which must be submitted in writing immediately after the match to the chairman followed by the pertinent fee.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>9)\u00a0 REFEREE<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The central referee supervises the bout, he is the first to enter the ring. Referee starts the fighting with the word &#187; fight &#171;, stops it with the word &#187; stop &#187; or parts the\u00a0 fighters in a prolonged clinch with the word &#187; break &#171;, at the utterance of which, after a step backward, the fight automatically begins again. He signals the projection with his uplifted arm and the immobilization with his horizontally stretched arm, while counting aloud, close enough to the fighters as to be clearly heard up to 5 seconds, before stopping the match and giving the immobilization points. If the referee sees a dangerous situation he can interrupt the count and in this case, the immobilization without delay. If at the end of the\u00a0 5 seconds count after the award\u00a0of the points\u00a0the athlete\u00a0is unable\u00a0to promptly resume fighting \u00a0the referee\u00a0continues\u00a0to count up to\u00a010 as in the case of the usual\u00a0 \u00a0knock &#8212; down. The same thing happens after a projection, starting this time the count from 1. The central referee can at any time count the fighter who is supposed to be in trouble, or declare the defeat due to evident superiority. In case of injury he must consult the doctor. He can ask the timekeeper to interrupt the time and\u00a0 stops the fight if after a projection, an immobilization does not immediately follow or if there is a reverse of the situation while the count has already begun. The Referee immediately stops the count during immobilization if he thinks the athlete is in danger.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>10)\u00a0 JUDGE<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The side judge evaluates techniques, combinations, number of blows hitting the target, efficacy,\u00a0 projections and\u00a0 immobilizations. He fills in every part of the scoring paper.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>11) THE\u00a0 JURY<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The jury consists of the timer keeper who stops the time only at the central referee&#8217; s request and signals the &#187; seconds out &#187; 10 seconds before the beginning of each round, the ring announcer, the commissioner who is the ultimate authority for the entire competition, the ringside doctor whose duty is to decide if an injured fighter can continue to fight or not. In both\u00a0cases\u00a0the one above\u00a0puts his hands\u00a0on the ground\u00a0on the side of the opponent\u2019s body and the one below \u00a0girds\u00a0the opponent\u2019s waist.<br \/>\n<strong>B<\/strong>: None of the\u00a0athletes\u00a0had\u00a0achieved\u00a0 the\u00a0lateral mount position\u00a0or full\u00a0mount.\u00a0In this case the fight is resumed in standing position.<br \/>\n<strong>C<\/strong>:\u00a0One of the two\u00a0athletes\u00a0had a\u00a0pending\u00a0finalization.\u00a0The referee\u00a0assigns a\u00a0point less (on\u00a0final score) to\u00a0 theathlete who\u00a0suffered the risk of the finalization and\u00a0the fight is resumed in standing position.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>15)<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>INJURIES<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0the event\u00a0of the injury\u00a0due to\u00a0the foul technique the injured fighter has\u00a0 3 minutes\u00a0 to \u00a0try to recover\u00a0and decide\u00a0whether to continue\u00a0the\u00a0fightsubject to the\u00a0discretion of the ringside doctor.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>16)<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>CLINCH<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0&#171;clinch&#187;\u00a0is a stalemate,\u00a0both fighters standing\u00a0or in\u00a0 ground position\u00a0during approximately 5 seconds without any actions on the part of one of the\u00a0 fighters (or both of them) in an attempt\u00a0 to\u00a0turn\u00a0the fight\u00a0to his\/her advantage.\u00a0Please note that\u00a0clinch might be\u00a0also an attempt\u00a0to\u00a0reach the time limit of the fight without trying to achieve submission of the opponent.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>M.M.A\u00a0 ELITE\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>professional rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0MMA is\u00a0a discipline that\u00a0allows\u00a0the highest expression\u00a0of martial arts\u00a0in a fight\u00a0where\u00a0 the\u00a0knockout is permitted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)\u00a0 PLACE OF COMPETITION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MMA matches are heldinside acaged octagon\u00a07- 10 meters in diameteror,alternatively,\u00a0in a\u00a0ring similar tothe ones used inkickboxing preferablywith four ropes.In any case\u00a0thefloor\u00a0mat must\u00a0be\u00a0adequately\u00a0padded.The padding should be at least 3 cm thick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) CLOTHING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MMA\u00a0fighters\u00a0should wear\u00a0Bermuda-length\u00a0 shorts.<\/p>\n<p>The protective gear\u00a0consists of\u00a0a groin cup,\u00a0open-hand\u00a0glovescovered on the thumbs anda mouthpiece. Gloves should reach the middle point of knuckles and have a pad at least 3 cm thick. Women must also wear a T-shirt or\u00a0top and\u00a0chest guard.\u00a0Guards\u00a0must\u00a0be of\u00a0approved types and\u00a0will be checked\u00a0by the jury.\u00a0The\u00a0mouthpiece\u00a0must\u00a0be tightly fit and the combatant will not be\u00a0allowed\u00a0to fight\u00a0with mouth open.<\/p>\n<p><u>MMA gloves<\/u><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>There should be 3-4 cm thick padding<\/li>\n<li>Thumbs should be covered<\/li>\n<li>The padding on the thumb should be between 0.5 and 1 cm thick.<\/li>\n<li>Gloves should reach the middle point of knuckles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>3) DURATION OF MATCHES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>National title and prestige fight:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Three 5 minutes rounds with 2 minutes interval<\/p>\n<p><strong>Europe Champion title:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Four 5 minutes rounds with 2 minutes interval<\/p>\n<p><strong>World Champion title:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Five 5 minutes rounds with 2 minutes interval<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tournaments:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>Two 5 minutes rounds with 1 minute 30 seconds interval<\/p>\n<p><strong>4) LEGAL TARGETS \u2013 ALLOWED TECHNIQUES <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Class A:<\/strong>It is allowed to hit the whole body with the exception of spine, nape, top of the head, throat and groin with punches (closed fist), kicks, knees, shin techniques. Elbow strikes arelegal\u00a0only\u00a0if they are executed in circular path\u00a0 without downward vertical movement and without hitting the target\u00a0with the tip.With one or both\u00a0fighters on the ground,the same blows are allowed\u00a0but only punches can be delivered to the head.Fighter in ground position is allowed to kick his standing opponent in the face.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5) TAKEDOWNS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is allowed to grab, hold and throw the opponent in any manner. It is also possible to strike while grabbing. Holding on to the ropes or the cage is forbidden.\u00a0It is not allowed to launch the &#8216;opponent over the ropes. It is not allowed to project\u00a0 the opponent knocking him on the neck head first or causing him to fall on his knees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6)<\/strong><strong>IMMOBILIZATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s allowed to block the opponent on the mat in any manner, but only the combatant who gains a position of advantage and keeps it for minimum 5 seconds will obtain points. \u00a0It is allowed to do locks and chokes both to keep up the immobilization and to obtain the surrender.Vantage points\u00a0are given based primarily on the position\u00a0of\u00a0 theopponent,\u00a0except for the\u00a0rear mount\u00a0which is\u00a0still\u00a0considered\u00a0advantageous position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6)<\/strong><strong>SUBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is allowed to finalize the match by\u00a0choking,\u00a0strangling,compression,\u00a0arm, leg or foot bars, locks (except finger locks).\u00a0Submission ends the fight. Fighter can not use his hands to attack his opponent\u2019s face(mouth, nose, eyes).The referee can interrupt a submission situation in progress if he believes it to be dangerous for the fighter who is suffering it, awarding victory to the other fighter. In\u00a0case of loss of\u00a0mouth guard\u00a0during ground fighting\u00a0the Referee orders the fighters to hold their positions, allow the mouthpieceto be re-inserted, and then resume the match.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7) SCORING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of each round the side judges give 10 points to the better fighter and 9 points to his opponent ( 8 if there has been a remarkable gap ). Then they subtract the points owing to penalties and counts, marking the total score on the \u201cround\u201d column. At the end of the match the result will be given by the sum of the points obtained in each round. In case of equal\u00a0 points in an elimination tournament the judge must give his preference.<\/p>\n<p>The winner is declared by a majority of verdicts.<\/p>\n<p>It is allowed to file a claim which must be submitted in writing immediately after the match to the chairman followed by the pertinent fee (50 Euro for national titles and 100 Euro for International).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8)REFEREE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The central referee is the first to enter the ring. Referee starts the fighting with the word \u201cfight &#171;, stops it with the word &#187; stop &#187; or parts the\u00a0 fighters in a prolonged clinch with the word&#187; break &#171;, at the utterance of which, after a step backward, the fight automatically begins again. Theyfill in every part of the scoring paper.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10) THE JURY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The jury consists of the timer keeper who stops the time only at the central referee&#8217; s request and signals the &#187; seconds out &#187; 10 seconds before the beginning of each round, the ring announcer, the commissioner who is the ultimate authority for the entire competition, the ringside doctor whose duty is to decide if an injured fighter can continue to fight or not. In both\u00a0cases\u00a0the one above\u00a0puts his hands\u00a0on the ground\u00a0on the side of the opponent\u2019s body and the one below \u00a0girds\u00a0the opponent\u2019s waist.<br \/>\n<strong>B<\/strong>: None of the\u00a0athletes\u00a0had\u00a0achieved\u00a0 the\u00a0lateral mount position\u00a0or full\u00a0mount.\u00a0In this case the fight is resumed in standing position.<br \/>\n<strong>C<\/strong>:\u00a0One of the two\u00a0athletes\u00a0had a\u00a0pending\u00a0finalization.\u00a0The referee\u00a0assigns a\u00a0point less (on\u00a0final score) to\u00a0 theathlete who\u00a0suffered the risk of the finalization and\u00a0the fight is resumed in standing position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>14) INJURIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0the event\u00a0of the injury\u00a0due to\u00a0the foul technique the injured fighter has\u00a0 3 minutes\u00a0 to \u00a0try to recover\u00a0and decide\u00a0whether to continue\u00a0the\u00a0fightsubject to the\u00a0discretion of the ringside doctor.<\/p>\n<p>If the match is stopped because of an involuntary injury, the match is considered \u201cno contest\u201c if the first round has not been completed.
